Welcome to GURU - a scientific R users community forum

Welcome to the Griffith University R Users group.

This forum has been set up as part of the recent introduction of Griffith Health Institute (GHI) R workshop's. With this forum we hope to create a resource where interested people can gather and ask questions:

  • learn from others
  • initiate discussion
  • get support and troubleshoot
  • post links to useful code, articles, programs, blogs, etc.
  • access resources (upload and download)
  • collaborate with other groups
The main reason for the GHI R workshops is developing skills in R for applied usage in biology/health research (ranging from high-throughput genomics, to clinical research and epidemiology). As such, many of the initial members of this group will be health scientists, but over time hopefully we'll see a few programmers and core computer science types entering the ranks (their input with be valuable and much appreciated!).

As we're just starting out the amount of content is currently quite limited, but is expected to grow as membership and interest increases. Overall we hope this is a friendly environment that can aid you in increasing your research productivity and analyses.

So if this sounds like you please register and make yourself at home. Once you've registered you'll be able to login and access all the resources, tutorials and discussion sections available to members.
